Professional accounting designation with significant financial reporting experience. Minimum ten (10) years of progressive accounting, financial reporting, and financial management experience, preferably within a complex healthcare or public sector environment. Comprehensive knowledge of Public Sector Accounting Standards (PSAS) and demonstrated experience applying accounting standards, policies, and financial reporting requirements. Experience preparing, reviewing, and analyzing financial statements, leading year-end audits, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Experience providing strategic financial advice and recommendations to senior leadership and executive stakeholders. Demonstrated leadership experience, including project management, team leadership, and mentoring. Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex issues and develop practical solutions. Ability to plan, prioritize, and allocate resources effectively to achieve departmental goals and meet competing deadlines Demonstrated commitment to continuing improvement, process automation, and operational efficiency.

Experience in public sector, government, healthcare, education, or a similarly complex environment. Experience with enterprise financial systems, specifically Oracle.
