A bachelor’s degree in health, business, finance, human resources, or a related discipline is required. A minimum of seven years of progressive leadership experience in a complex public or private sector organization is required. Demonstrated experience leading or overseeing complex, multi stakeholder initiatives with enterprise level impact and measurable outcomes is required. The successful candidate brings strong analytical, judgment, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to influence outcomes across diverse cross-sector partners. Proven ability to integrate financial, operational, and strategic considerations, including cost and value impacts, to support decision making is required. Experience supporting governance processes and translating complex information into clear, actionable recommendations is essential. Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills are required.

Strong relationship building, facilitation, and negotiation skills are required to effectively engage executive and senior leaders. The incumbent must be able to synthesize complex information, assess risk, and develop clear, practical options and recommendations that balance operational, financial, and broader system considerations. Strong critical thinking skills and sound judgment are essential in navigating ambiguity and resolving interdependencies across initiatives. Advanced organizational skills, adaptability, and a collaborative leadership style are essential, along with the ability to lead through influence in a matrixed environment. The role requires strong business acumen, including financial literacy and an understanding of system level drivers and efficiency opportunities. Proficiency in standard enterprise tools including Microsoft Office and Teams is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
A master’s degree in healthcare, business, or administration would be considered an asset. Professional certification in project or program management, change management, and/or process improvement methodologies is preferred. Experience working in large scale public sector or health system transformation environments is considered an asset.
