Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in health administration, health care management, business administration, or a related healthcare field. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered. Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible experience in healthcare, government or another complex public sector environment. Demonstrated experience supporting a senior executive or complex leadership portfolio within a large organization.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Previous experience working with government is an asset. Experience supporting senior leaders within healthcare operations, service delivery, quality improvement, strategy or organizational transformation is preferred. Strong understanding of healthcare systems, including clinical and operational environments. Experience leading or coordinating projects, initiatives, programs or organizational priorities within a complex healthcare, government or public sector environment. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholder interests, timelines and risks while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and professionalism. Experience supporting the implementation and monitoring of strategic, operational or organizational initiatives. Proven ability to work effectively in complex, dynamic and politically sensitive environments. Excellent communication, relationship management, organizational and influencing skills. Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment, manage sensitive information with discretion and work independently with minimal direction. Demonstrated ability to prepare clear, concise and professional materials for senior leadership audiences.


Preferred Qualifications:

Clinical experience, or significant experience working within clinical operations or healthcare service delivery environments, is an asset. Experience leading or coordinating complex initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and operational areas, is an asset. Formal project management education, certification or equivalent experience is an asset. Experience working with physicians, clinical leaders, operational leaders and provincial healthcare stakeholders is an asset.
