Post-secondary degree in a health-related field. Relevant project management specific education, training, or certification in project management from an accredited institution. 3 years of progressive experience in project management, including knowledge of project management principles, tools and methodologies.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Experience leading project teams and large projects within a healthcare organization. Demonstrated skill in verbal and written communication. Experience with MS Office suite, including MS Project and Visio. Proven ability to foster relationships and partnerships with complex and varied internal and external individuals and groups. Ability to work independently, prioritize and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working directly with clinicians and comfortable communicating with physicians, clinical professionals and executive leadership. 2+ years of experience working in a healthcare organization of significant size, complexity and diversity. Professional designation in project management (e.g. Project Management Professional designation). Experience in developing and delivering adult education.
