The Performance and Outcomes Pharmacist role reports to the Manager of Information, Performance and Outcomes and is an integral part of Pharmacy Alberta, bringing strategic thinking, curiosity, and a collaborative mindset to work that directly influences patient care across the province. In this role, you will work with a dedicated and forward looking team to advance health system priorities by building strong relationships with partners, strengthening coordination, and using data driven insights to enhance system performance. You will support capacity planning and champion continuous quality improvement and innovation to elevate outcomes, and advance pharmacy service delivery. that shape pharmacy practice in Alberta. You will lead the development and implementation of financial indicators, analytical models, and performance measures that support informed decision making a. Your pharmacy expertise will help define success for provincial pharmacy services, while your strategic leadership will align initiatives with the broader vision of Pharmacy Alberta. Through this work, you will drive measurable improvements that strengthen patient care, support system sustainability, and contribute to a high performing, future focused pharmacy service. Description:
As a Pharmacist I, you will be responsible for the safe, effective and efficient preparation and distribution of pharmaceutical services. You will manage medication therapy for patients, both initially and on an ongoing basis. In addition, you will provide assessment, intervention and resolution of potential or actual drug-related problems and oversee activities related to compounding and packaging.

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum 5 years of experience (within the last 8 years) in clinical pharmacy, preferably in an acute care setting. Proficiency and/or knowledge of Willow (Epic) workflows related to verification, clinical documentation, distribution and inventory.
Preferred Qualifications:A minimum of 2 years’ experience (within the last 5 years) in a provincial role within a health service delivery organization, agency or corporation, government, or regulatory setting. Experience with Epic reporting tools (e.g. Slicer-Dicer)
